Sharing the joy of the Lunar New Year

With Chinese New Year 2011 in full swing, Elements Gym Sdn Bhd welcomed the New Year by electing the children of Agathians Shelter as its long term community outreach partner. As part of an ongoing outreach to the home and its children, Elements Gym organized a Chinese New Year lunch complete with Lion Dance and lucky red packets for the children. It was a jubilant atmosphere as gym members joined the celebration and got to know the children. Apart from spending time with the team and gym members, the gleeful children got front row seats during the Lion Dance performance which culminated in the handing out of ‘ang-pows’ and a buffet lunch on the gym’s outdoor garden terrace.

GTower Hotel hosted Andy Pag’s stay

As a green hotel property, GTower Hotel is committed to supporting the initiative of organization or individuals that raise awareness on green causes. GTower Hotel hosted Andy Pag’s stay for the Kuala Lumpur leg of his round the world journey called the ‘BioTruck’, an expedition committed to going green in November 2010. As part of his stay, Mr Pag was engaged in various media activities detailing both the hotel and BioTruck’s commitment to going green.

Goldis Spreads New Year Cheer to Young and Old

The Goldis Group spreads festive cheer to both young and
old by visiting old folks at Selangor King George V Silver Jubilee Fund and orphans
from childcare centre Yayasan Sunbeams Home. Using donations collected from the staff
at the last Christmas Party, the Company matched the final value dollar for dollar to
buy essential supplies ranging from food, stationeries and toiletries for the residents
of both senior folks and children home.

In Aid of the Sichuan Earthquake Tragedy

Macro Kiosk Berhad initiated a charity collaboration with Halo Music (Malaysia) in aid of the Sichuan
Earthquake Tragedy to enable mobile downloads for the song "Love and Hope" written by JJ Lin. Through this initiative, fans
of JJ Lin were able to contribute RM5 per download to the Earthquake Fund. Macro Kiosk also ran an internal fundraising drive
amongst its subsidiaries and successfully collected a donation amounting to RM20,000 which was presented to the China Embassy
in Malaysia.

Eluxion Media Sdn Bhd organized a charity visit to the House of Joy and Sungei Way Old Folk Home. All
